"When children learn with the whole brain they are open, receptive, and curious about the environment.
Simultaneously, they are able to express themselves, make new experiences their own,
and be aware of their own uniqueness.
This is our goal for every person on the planet. "

Paul and Gail Dennison, 1984

Educational Kinesiology is a holistic approach to brain, mind and body functioning. It was first put together by Dr. Paul Dennison who found ways of enhancing learning through natural movements. Brain Gym provides simple, specialized movements to assist us in "re-educating" the way our brain and body work together, allowing us to attain new levels of achievement in any area. Brain Gym can be applied to many skills: visual, mental, coordination tasks and performance activities.

The body feels and works best when it is tuned and refreshed and so does the brain!

Brain Gym can help you to "switch on" your brain to bring out your best. If you are stuck in a pattern that keeps you from reaching your goals in life, if you have an ongoing difficulty in handling a particular situation, if you feel overwhelmed, Brain Gym could benefit you.

Benefits of Brain Gym:

Increases self-esteem.
Increases motivation and energy. Reduces stress (exams, job).
Stimulates both the left and right side of the brain for whole brain functioning.

Detects when the brain is switched off and teaches how to switch it back on.
Identifies and avoids negative
behavior and stress.
Eliminates fears and phobias. Facilitates reading, writing, maths and memory skills.

Enhances the ability to learn more easily in any subject or situation.

Allows students to take charge of their own learning.

Formulation of goals that are positive, active, clear and energizing so that you can take charge of your lives.

A quick four-step Brain Gym warm-up readiness process to bring you on-track and ready to begin any task or meet any challenge.

Movements and other exercises that can help you stimulate the brain and enhance energy so that you function easily and without effort in desired areas of life.
