"Once we begin to question our thoughts, our partners - alive, dead or divorced - are always our greatest teachers. There's no mistake about the person you're with; he or she is the perfect teacher for you, whether or not the relationship works out, and once you enter inquiry, you come to see that clearly"
Byron Katie.

This weekend introduction to "The Work of Byron Katie" will give you an understanding about how specifically the things which disturb you in other people, can show you the way to peace and truth within. We will learn how to identify stressful thoughts and practice taking them into inquiry. We will look at what we expect from our partners or those close to us. And, we will learn a straight way to deal with criticism and practice clear communication.

Every time we question our own stressful thoughts, we make the journey home to our true self and the wisdom within. By this we discover what has been keeping us from loving ourselves and others. With each inquiry we do, we deepen the relationship with ourselves and our loved ones.

What is The Work of Byron Katie?

The Work is a simple yet powerful process of inquiry that teaches you to identify and question thoughts that cause all the suffering in the world. It's a way to understand what's hurting you, and to address your problems with clarity. People who do The Work as an ongoing practice report greater ease, clarity and joy in their lives.

"How do you react when you think you need people's love?
Do you become a slave for their approval? Do you live an inauthentic life because you can't bear the thought that they might disapprove of you? Do you try to figure out how they would like you to be, and then try to become that, like a chameleon? In fact, you never really get their love. You turn into someone you aren't, and then when they say "I love you", you can't believe it, because they're loving a façade. They're loving someone who doesn't even exist, the person you're pretending to be. It's difficult to seek other people's love. It's deadly. In seeking it, you lose what is genuine. This is the prison we create for ourselves as we seek what we already have."- Byron Katie

Testimonials from previous workshop participants:

"The Workshop was intense, wonderful, informative, awakening, motivating, grounding and much more than that. I enjoyed it, it was healing and it keeps me working." Ruedi H.

"Thank you again for the wonderful workshop. I was so grateful for the week and had such an amazing time. It deepened my understanding of the work and I've noticed many subtle changes since coming back. Most deeply has been a sense that all is well, there is really nothing to reach for or panic that I haven't got - what a wonderful awakening!" Elaine.
