Flower essences are herbal remedies made from flower petals which are placed in water and infused in the sun. The resulting liquid contains the energetic imprint of the flower. This energy interacts with the human energy field to harmonise the emotions, calm and clear the mind and bring about a sense of peace and well-being which are necessary prerequisites for good health.
Each type of flower holds a special pattern which imparts a particular healing energy. Flower essences are compatible with allopathic medicine as well as all holistic therapies. There are no negative side effects. They are completely safe.
The first 38 flower essences were discovered in England in the 1930s by Dr. Edward Bach. He considered that illness was a sign of an imbalance or negative emotional state which, if corrected, would result in a return to good health. It was some 40 years after his death before people began exploring the healing properties of other flowers.
Today flower essences and other vibrational remedies are being produced all over the world.
About the Facilitator:
Peggy Rada has been working with flower essences and other vibrational remedies since 1992, and received a diploma from the International Federation of Vibrational Medicine in England. She also gives lectures and courses on flower essences and runs Fleurs de Vie, a mail-order business which sells a wide range of flower essences from around the world.
Although she is a trained flower essence therapist, she prefers to devote her time to helping others learn how to use flower essences for themselves and their families. She believes that self-empowerment is an essential ingredient for living a healthy and balanced life.
